La Ronda is the name of the album that begins the journey of the collective João and Gonçalo Mota, Bernardo Pereira and Renato Sousa.
The production was in charge of Sérgio Mendes and counts on the participation of Zé Miguel Zambujo, Carolina Barreiro and Cátia Mazari Oliveira.
The album features a sound strongly inspired by World Music, Jazz and the Brazilian Tropicalismo.
The writing runs between the Portuguese and English languages along the ten songs that compose the album.
DELAMOTTA is the cryptonym for which the brothers Gonçalo Mota, drummer and percussionist, and the singer and lyricist João Mota have been composing since 2015 songs that celebrate universes as diverse as the popular mythology or geography as a philosophical, physical and poetic exercise.
Bernardo Pereira and Renato Sousa joined later, coming from the natural track of friendship and many hours shared on the road, where music, unfolded in its various topographies, has always served as a compass.
